Norm 03 steel

Norm 03 stainless steel is an exclusive version. Norm 03 is an organic, modern lamp, giving a sculptural light over any dining table. In the steel version, the living and decorative light that Norm 03 casts on the ceiling is intensified and the reflection of the light is enhanced by the many nuances of the steel, from jet-black to shiny, giving an exclusive look.  

Britt Kornum designed Norm 03 in 2003, hence the name, while she was studying at the School of Architecture. Norm 03 is originally inspired by flower ornaments, with the idea of creating a pattern of strips based on simple principles.

Norm 03 in steel is a ceiling pendant complete with a fabric cable with incorporated wire.

Norm 03 can be cleaned using an air spray, micro-fibre cloth or carefully cleaned using a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment.

Britt Kornum

Britt Kornum is an architect from the School of Architecture, Aarhus, Denmark, Furniture and space.

“I get my inspiration from organic shapes. A mix of a feminine touch and minimalism complete my designs. It is everyday life as well as life in general that inspires me in my work. In my opinion the best design is created from a spontaneous idea. During the design process I start collecting information about the subject, material and the technical aspects. The different information makes it possible to develop a perfect shape and to create a connection between the intuitive thinking and the technical aspects. This is a working process that gives me much inspiration.”
